The dark fairy is back! In this new adventure, family trust and love is put to the test. The joyous occasion of sleeping beauty Aurora’s (Elle Fanning) wedding to Prince Phillip (Harris Dickinson) is supposed to finally unify the human kingdom Ulstead and the fairies. However, if it’s too good to be true, it’s usually not true. Aurora’s future mother-in-law (Michelle Pfeiffer) starts meddling in business and things turn ugly. When a new and unknown magical force emerges, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) and her beloved Aurora, who are supposed to be the proof that true love comes in many forms, need to ultimately decide which side they actually stand for.
This film has all the ingredients a good Disney movie is made of; love, hate, magic, family and a great cast! Adding the magnificent Michelle Pfeiffer as Aurora’s mother-in-law-to-be, Queen Ingrith, to the cast makes this movie a clash of the titans in so many ways..I just can’t wait to see the full result!
